    • Compass Card

      At this time, please purchase transit passes directly at Compass vending machines, as Compass Card's website is currently not accepting pre-paid credit cards for online purchases. 


      Please remember when using your SideKick Card physically for the first time, to use the chip and pin.


      If an online purchase has failed and it shows in your transactions list, please allow 3 business days before contacting support@sidekickcard.com, as pending transactions that were unsuccessful may take a few days to update in your app.

    • What do I do if my SideKick Card is lost or stolen?

      If your SideKick Card is lost or stolen, lock the card immediately via the toggle on the 'wallet' screen of the SideKick Card Mobile App or via the SideKick Web Portal. If your card is found, simply unlock it via the same toggle and continue making purchases.


      Please contact support@sidekickcard.com and include your email and name connected to your SideKick account to request a replacement card.

    • How do I check the current exchange rate?

      The current exchange rate is available within your SideKick Web Portal via the Load Money process. Alternatively, you can click here to access our Exchange Rate Calculator.

    • How long does it take to get money on my card?

      Once funds have been confirmed and loaded to the SideKick Web Portal account, they can be transferred to the SideKick Card at any time. The transfer is immediate. 



    • Can I use my SideKick Card for UBER?

      Yes. To use UBER, we suggest purchasing UBER Gift Cards, as UBER does not typically accept prepaid credit cards.

    • How do I receive my SideKick Card?

      Your card will be mailed to the Canadian address entered in the Order Card section of the SideKick Web Portal account. All money in your SideKick account is safe and cannot be used until a SideKick Card is added to your SideKick Card Mobile App. 

    • How much money can be in my SideKick account?

      The maximum balance of your SideKick Web Portal account is $9,990 as well as you can have a maximum balance of $9,990 in your SideKick Card account.

    • Can I buy things online with my SideKick Card?

      Yes, online purchases can be made wherever a prepaid Mastercard is accepted. Use your personal name and current Canadian address that can be found in the Profile section in your SideKick Mobile App.
